Time is seldom a factor as we are geared up to work seven days a week, 24 hours a day, as we are absolutely sure that we can offer the very best of service, safety and quality to serve the Asian region.

The value-added commercial diving services we serve includes exemplary underwater hull cleaning, propeller polishing, still photography inspection or closed circuit television inspection (CCTV), underwater repair and other forms of underwater maintenance works within the Singapore Anchorages and other neighboring countries.



Managing Director

In diving circles in Asia, his appreciation for subsea technology is close to legendary with his exemplary track record over 39 years. He truly leads by example after learning the early ropes as an accomplished naval diver with the RSN (Republic of Singapore Navy) and competently transited through training and qualification into the field of commercial diving.

Edwin Tan continues to inspire and support the marine diving industry as the former Founder & Managing Director of Unidive Marine Services Pte Ltd with 140 full-time staff.

He laid the foundations as the pioneer Founder Chairman of the Commercial Diving Association (Singapore) from 2010-2014 wherein he worked closely with Ministry of Manpower and Workplace Safety and Health Council where the Competency Standards and the Curriculum, Training and Assessment Guide were introduced.

His highest marine reputation has led to multiple tender qualifications and audit with major customers like Shell, ExxonMobil and major shipyards under Keppel Offshore and Marine. He also wears other dignified marine-hats as a qualified Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems Auditor and Competence Assessor.

Edwin’s close to four-decades diving career shows his deep love of the marine industry. And now as Managing Director of Hydropro Pte Ltd, he intends to take a more holistic view in educational efforts to get his contemporaries to be savvier of global climatic changes that will soon impact the diving homeland.

Always with a world-class sea-faring mind, he also hopes to bring more attention to raising overall highest professional standards in local and regional commercial diving.


General Manager

With more than three decades of diving skills under his belt, carved out a name as a veteran naval diver with RSN (Republic of Singapore Navy) in the early 1990s. He believes that good bosses are like good coaches: They command respect and provide the right blend of praise and constructive criticism to bring out the best in their employees.

Experience and expertise matters top in his books. He knows the marine industry business like the back of his hand as he was also the Dive Supervisor of Metalock Underwater Maintenance and Operations Director of Unidive Marine Services Pte Ltd, where he managed the Diving and Industrial Rope Access operations. He outlines a clear vision and provides the team with the knowledge and tools to achieve it. Maintaining accountability is a big part of office morale and he always encourages workers to act with integrity, leading to an excellent workplace culture.

His multiple marine industry skills includes qualifications such as IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician, Dive Technician, High Pressure Regulator Maintenance, Gauge Calibration and Kirby Morgan Dive Systems Maintenance and Repair Technician.
